The room and bathroom were clean. The room was spacious. Water pressure and temperature was great. Mattress was comfortable but the bed platform made a loud metal rumbling noise every time we got out of bed, not great for light sleepers. Check in took a long time because they had a new system that the night clerk hadn’t been trained on very well. She was very nice and apologetic about the wait, but also made a slightly snarky comment about our diesel truck running outside. The bathroom had very little vanity space to sit a makeup bag and no electrical outlets. I wound up getting ready in the bedroom area at a small table where there was another mirror and I could sit my bag. Overall a good stay for a night or two.

Hotel Alice is truly a hidden gem tucked into Pine Knoll Shores. With a secluded, private feel enhanced by native plantings and a partially hidden wetlands artfully screened and protected by a native plant buffer zone, the hotel sits back from the main road . The Hotel Alice is in pristine condition inside and out. The outdoor pool is spotless and well maintained, with plenty of comfortable furniture for relaxing in luxury. The interior decorations of the common areas is contemporary and tasteful, nothing jarring or tacky. The Staff at Hotel Alice are all very welcoming, helpful, resourceful and sincerely kind. It's been an honor and a privilege to be a guest at Hotel Alice, truly. Every thoughtful accomodations is available, and special needs are cheerfully attended to upon request. To say this is a 10 hardly covers how much my partner and I have loved being here! We originally had a 4 night stay booked but then spontaneously added another 2 nights to our stay because we just love this place so much. The Hotel Alice is close to every restaurant on the Atlantic Beach NC island and Fort Fisher State Park Beaches. Bikes and even beach wagons are available. A Public Beach Access for the Atlantic Beach is directly across the street from the Hotel. I highly recommend the Hotel Alice to everyone seeking a dog-friendly, gay-friendly, more-than-comfortable, restful , clean, enjoyable place at the beach!

Hotel property is serene and located on the waterfront and marshes. Great coastal vibe. Ideal location to sightsee all around the Crystal Coast and beaches. Hotel staff, property, rooms and dining exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel. I will return as a guest often.

Very nice play clean room and icy cold AC

Check in required a phone call but was easily remedied. The property was in an excellent location. The unit itself was lovely and looked exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our coffee on the small balcony. We only stayed one night otherwise I would have wanted to address the dampness in the unit. Felt and smelled like the carpet had just been cleaned but perhaps not completely dried??
